7 Tips To Increase Your Page Ranking

Page ranking can make or break your website!

By Diane Thomas

As a website owner, your goal is to get your word out to as many of the millions of people on the Internet as you can. Without good page rankings that goal becomes more and more difficult to achieve.

Assuming that you have already put time and effort into research to make sure there was a market or need for your chosen niche, there is more that you can easily do to get a higher page ranking and the opportunity to be noticed by your target market.

Following are 7 no-cost ways to build your page ranking:

1.Create a site with valuable content, products or services. Good content will always make the search engines happy - and will build credibility and trust with your potential customers as well.

2.Research and choose keywords and phrases that will attract your target customers.

3.Use your main keyword in your meta tags, title, headers, etc.

4.Place your main and secondary keywords within the first 25 words in your page content and spread them evenly throughout the page.

5.Write and submit articles to article directories. This will serve to demonstrate your expertise in your niche and will garner back links to make your page ranking higher.

6.Submit all of your site pages to the search engines and directories, not just your home page. Most search engines do not like automated submissions, so be sure to submit your pages manually.

7.Keep up on the changes in search engine algorithms and modify your web pages accordingly.

As a bonus for reading this article, here’s another tip: Keep your site simple and your navigation system easy to navigate.

Take action now and grab a top ten search engine ranking!
