The problem is, how do you do that? You’re not an expert or a guru, right? Information products are the key. Your product can be an ebook, report, manual, software,
ecourse, CD or video; anything that is knowledge based and can be delivered electronically. You can create and deliver an information product with little or no money, which makes it
the perfect choice for any business. There is no inventory involved, no shipping problems
to deal with and your products are delivered instantly. The advantages in producing information products are enormous and can give you a real edge
in making your business a success. First, however, you must determine what your market wants or needs. In other words, there
must be a demand for your product or you’re just wasting your time. Research your market. Start with the search engines, find out what people are searching for
and if the sites that come up fulfill the need. Visit forums to learn the latest issues being discussed. Is there a particular problem or
need that should be addressed, or that there is just not enough information about? Using a questionnaire on your website is an ideal way to gather information about your niche
market. Offer a free gift to those who fill it out. (This is also a great way to add to your
subscriber list.) Once you’ve decided on a product, don’t skimp - over-deliver! Create a quality product that fulfills your customers needs and one that will build your
reputation as an expert in your niche. It’s relatively easy to create your product. You can write it yourself or outsource it to a
professional freelancer. Simply write your document in 'Microsoft Word' and convert it to PDF format. There are free
tools to do this. If you want to make a CD, you can do that as well. Offering both to allow
your customer a choice of formats is always a good idea. Once your product is complete, you’ll need to create a sales page and set up a mini site and
