Affiliate marketers always seem to be looking for "the"
successful tactic that gives the biggest paycheck. Some think
there’s a magic formula that will catapult them to riches.
Actually, it’s a little more complicated.
So what is the key to affiliate marketing success? Simply put,
good marketing practices that have been proven over years of hard
work and dedication of others.
These affiliate marketing tactics have worked in the past,
continue to work today,
and will, no doubt, work in the future as well.
By following these three affiliate marketing tactics, you'll be able to increase
your sales and be a winner in affiliate marketing.
#1. Use unique, content-rich web pages to promote your
affiliate products.
If you promote each product on it’s own web page you will win
sales in several ways.
Firstly, by providing products with their own page you'll be
able to keyword optimize your pages to gain a high search engine
ranking, thereby realizing more traffic which in turn converts to more
sales.
Secondly, you can promote your products using product reviews
and testimonials, giving potential customers less hype and
more substantial information to base their decision on.
Thirdly, by using product reviews you can promote yourself as an
expert in your field which will gain trust and confidence from
your potential customers. When you accomplish this, not only will
your customers buy today, they will come back and buy again and again!
#2. Offer free, viral reports to your readers. If possible position them
at the very top of your page so they can't be missed.
Create auto-responder messages to be emailed to those who sign up..
Now you have a new list subscriber and a potential customer!
Always use an opt-in email for this so your new subscribers know that if
they want your free report they will he hearing from you again.
Your report should show how using the product your promoting will solve a
problem or problems that customers in your niche might be having.
This shouldn't be an advertisement or sales pitch and should not appear
as one or your potential customers may be turned off. It should simply be
an informational product with minimal but well placed product links.
#3. Articles are an excellent affiliate marketing tactic
that provides several benefits. Not only is it a wonderful marketing tool,
if well written your articles will
improve your website ranking, bringing you even more traffic and
more potential customers.
Having articles on your website provides quality content, which
we know the search engines love. If your articles are keyword
optimized they will garner their own page rank and be a real draw
for potential customers.
Submitting articles to article directories will also attract
potential customers and pull in back-links from other
webmasters who use your articles on their sites for content.
Some newsletter owners may use your articles for content in their
newsletters as well.Again more potential customers and traffic
from other sources, maybe even your competitors!
Writing articles is a win, win situation! They are an affiliate marketing
tactic that can provide sales, bring you targeted traffic, boost your search engine
rankings, and beef up your "expert" status.
These affiliate marketing tactics are not difficult and won’t
cost you an arm-and-a-leg to implement - Just a little time and a
plan of action.
