Like many others on the Web my background does not seem to have anything at all to do with my chosen business at the outset, but the diverse areas I was involved in really laid the foundation for my new enterprise. Prior to this endeavor I was involved in manufacturing for some twenty years.
A reach you say? Not really. I have held positions in Purchasing, Sales and Marketing and ultimately V.P. of Administration for a manufacturing company. I wrote equipment specifications, manuals, and sales letters, created and wrote Literature pieces and brochures, and did lots and lots of copywriting.
While doing research I came across some wonderful websites, but found myself scurrying back and forth between sites and sometimes forgetting where a critical piece of information was that I needed. That was when I decided that a site dedicated to information and links for readers, writers, publishers and entrepreneaus, all under one roof, was what I wanted to create...
A place that was comfortable not confusing, fun not boring, and most importantly a place where needed information is brought right to your fingertips. No one will have to spend hours "surfing" anymore, it will all be at eBook Crossroads.
Now that you know who I am and that eBook Crossroads is here to make your life a little easier, I hope you'll make us your "home base". It's been over five years since I originally wrote this piece. eBook Crossroads has evolved and grown enormously over the years. I have had a lot of fun, learned a great deal, authored books and courses and met some wonderful people during this time - and I wanted to add a Thank You to all of you for making eBook Crossroads successful.
